Foxes have settled back into their learning with enthusiasm and muster. We have had three days delving into our new topic ‘Invaders and Settlers’. Children firstly, looked in depth at the counties of the UK before moving on to the Scandinavian countries. Foxes worked in groups to find
out all about the counties, capitals, cities, rivers and mountains of the three Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden and Denmark). Did you know that Sweden has 21 counties? Our compass and map reading skills have certainly improved. Foxes created some great collaborative maps full of their learning.
Foxes put on their dancing shoes during PE and really hit the beat. We are expecting some super choreography by the end of this learning block. Check out the photographs and moves below.
The short week ended with our Celebration Assembly in which four children received a special certificate from Mr Hopkins. Next term it could be you!
