Wow! What a lovely busy week we have had in Hedgehogs. We began the week by celebrating World Mental Health Day with the rest of the school. We all wore yellow, made masks and spoke about the importance of wellbeing!
Our working wall is looking lovely thanks to all the wonderful Autumn activities we have been doing, the children have done leaf silhouettes, pine cone painting and together we have been working on our ongoing Autumn wreath! To create the wreath the children have been showing fantastic perseverance and resilience with their cutting skills!
In our outdoor tuff tray, we were lucky enough to have a couple of pumpkins. The children have been scooping out all the seeds and using their imaginations to create pumpkin pies, cakes and tarts. Yummy!
With the lead up to half term, we have begun to focus on ‘Room on the Broom’. We started by making potions in our pumpkin cauldrons!
