Once again we have had another jam-packed week in Hedgehogs filled with all sorts of wonderful exploring. The setting has been smelling delicious all week thanks to our citrusy water play. We used our senses to investigate Lemons, Limes and Tangerines, the children used some fantastic describing works and enjoyed finding out what would happen when the fruit was squeezed. The children used their imagination to make us lemony cups of tea!
We have been doing some fabulous mark-making in our foil covered tuff tray, allowing children to creatively express their thoughts and ideas. Together we also recognised that different paint brushes/sponges created different shapes and textures. The children went crazy for mixing all the colours to see what they could make!
We have also been looking at different shapes in our surrounding environments, the children worked hard as a team to match all the shapes in our tuff tray.
