This week in Hedgehogs, we’ve been thinking about Mother’s Day and what we can do to thank our mums for being so amazing. We used bendy sticks to make heart wands to help our mummies’ wishes come true and printed cards using celery hearts to make rose pictures.
We enjoyed stories about baby and mummy animals like “Come on Daisy” and “Lily gets Lost” and matched mother and baby toy animals. Delicious foods were whipped up in the mud kitchen for breakfast in bed.
We found a sheet of ice in the mud kitchen sink one frosty morning and made a beautiful decoration using rose petals and leaves but when we went back outside it had mysteriously disappeared!
