Hedgehogs have had an extremely busy week back at Preschool, we have been very impressed with how well the children have settled back into routine, so well done everyone! It’s Child Safety Week and the children have come up with some fantastic ideas on how we can all stay safe in the sun and by busy roads. We completed a handprint activity reminding children how important it is to always hold their adult’s hand when out and about.
Not only is it Child Safety Week but we also celebrated World Ocean Day! The children’s lovely ideas helped us to make the perfect tuff tray, allowing them to experience the sensory aspects of sea, sand and shells whilst also learning about the animals that live there!
The children have also got extremely creative with something as simple as a cardboard box, we turned it into a castle which included a look-out spot and even a drawbridge! We saw some brilliant imaginative play!
