Otter Class Weekly Class Update 11/11/2022

Wow what another busy week we have had. On Monday we worked super hard to prepare all the delicious snakes for the Horning Village Hall Cafe! Well done everyone! This week has also been assessment week and the children have worked exceptionally hard on their tasks. In English we finished our unit on Rama and Sita and produced some more exceptional writing. In maths we have been looking at number bonds and linking it to our previous learning. Reception have been building on their knowledge and foundations with numbers 4 and 5. In topic we have  also designed some packaging to ensure that Mr Hopkins wouldn’t get his lunch of poppadoms wet!

Looking back on this week’s achievements I am shocked how we have fitted it all in!

We are currently in the process of finalising a date for Otter parents to come in and see our topic work and take part in a cooking activity with the children. Please keep a look out for a letter regarding this and an update on the dates calendar below!

“Rama and Sita were sent into the enchanted forest. Life was peaceful there until the day Sita was spotted by Ravana. He was blood curling. Sita saw a rainbow golden deer. Sita asked Rama to fetch it when Rama came back Sita was gone!” – By Issac Year 2 – Great Work!
