Otters have been looking at ‘Greater and Less than’ in maths and in Reception they have been comparing objects. In English we have started a new text ‘Ganesha’s sweet tooth’ – this is to go with our topic. At the moment we have been learning about Hinduism and the celebration of Diwali. This week we were lucky enough to have a visit from a Bollywood dancer and a Henna artist. The children absolutely loved this experience. We have started our preparations for the Harvest celebration at the church next week and we are looking forward to our visit. As I sit here writing this I can smell the delicious breakfast being prepared for our ‘Autumn breakfast’ I can also see a selection of very excited children waiting in anticipation. It’s the perfect start to a Friday morning!
