Otters have had a brilliant week, everyone has settled in so well and we have all been really engaged in our new learning. This week we have been looking at a narrative in our English lessons and the Year 2’s have produced some brilliant independent writing. In our maths we have been focussing on place value, and have done lots of counting and practical activities to support this.
We have been super focused on our Let’s Fly Away topic and have been learning all about the history of flying machines. We’ve even had a go at designing and sketching our own aeroplanes and machines!
We have also been making the most of the sunshine, and have done lots of outdoor activities.
We are really looking forward to the rest of the year and the learning journey we will be going on.
