Ahoy there! Otter class have sailed into the summer term with a yo ho ho! We began the week discovering a mysterious letter and a map in the classroom which led us to a treasure box. Inside we found a pirate bear (which the children have named “Captain Mungo”) some books, a costume and some (delicious) treasure.
The children have made pirate hats, old paper by tea-staining, treasure maps and written about our lives as a pirate – we even have our own pirate names!
This week the children also started learning Judo which was thoroughly enjoyed by all – they even got to “throw” their partners on the floor!
