What a full and varied week we’ve had! Starting with a visit from a police officer, we got to sit in the police car and listen to the siren. After talking about road safety, we practised looking left and right to cross our chalk-drawn road in our bike area and responded to the stop and go signs.
Having seen and heard fireworks over the weekend, we enjoyed activities inspired by their bright colours, sounds and movements. We noticed people wearing red poppies and worked together to make a wreath for the church. We painted elder wood beads and threaded them on to wire to make the petals. We ended the week making a sweet yet healthy treat to keep us warm in the cooler weather- stuffed apples baked on the firepit.
