Hedgehogs Forest Preschool Weekly Updates 11/03/24

With Mothering Sunday this weekend, Hedgehogs have been thinking about how we can show our mummies how special they are to us.  We prepared breakfast in bed in the mud kitchen, used petals in our water play to mix up sweet-smelling perfumes and read stories about mums and families. On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day.  We dressed up in costumes and pretended to be different characters.  Rachel brought in a library story sack and we enjoyed using the puppets to retell the story ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ and played a game called ‘Tummy Ache’.  With Paddington Bear being a firm favourite with many of our children, we made marmalade sandwiches for our snack.  Yummy!
